System Overview

VisTracks is a comprehensive ELD solution designed for international operations throughout Canada, USA and Mexico. VisTracks is FMCSA compliant and is undergoing final testing for Transport Canada certification. The VisTracks solution consists of an ECMLink miniature hardware device that is plugged directly into the ECM (engine) connector of each of your vehicles. ECMLink communicates directly with the vehicle’s engine and also with the VisTracks driver app via a wireless Bluetooth connection. The cloud-based VisTracks system then ties it all together in an easy-to-use dashboard.

The VisTracks ELD app can be used as a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solution or with our purpose-built ruggedized Android DuraTran Tablet.  BYOD devices require a customer-provided 500 MB mobile data plan. For fleets that travel within Canada, only Android based devices may be used in order to meet Transport Canada certification. For fleets that do not travel within Canada, they may provide either Android or iOS devices.
