With the latest technology, RANGER CT features intelligent power management that automatically reduces standby power consumption in situations where the vehicle is not moving. The combination of its motion detector and ultra-low current consumption of less than 1mA means that vehicles parked for extended periods will not exhibit dead battery problems as a result of the GPS device.

Field Serviceability

RANGER CT employs GPS Commander’s industry leading over-the-air programming and maintenance engine that allows our Support Team to remotely monitor unit health status, deploy automatic upgrades, re-configure GPS reporting characteristics or trouble shoot units over-the-air. This ensures that optimum performance will be achieved and that changing customer requirements can be met without de-installation. If de-installation is ever required, Ranger CT’s quick release harness makes removal a simple click and pull affair.
